Ask4Support began as a small part-time service helping friends and family with their tech. Over a decade later, we support hundreds of organisations across three continents, and we're still guided by the same simple commitment to service.

2011

A spark of an idea

Ask4Support began in September 2011 as a small, part-time IT service helping friends and family with their day-to-day tech needs. Practical, dependable support for people we cared about. That commitment to service became the foundation everything else was built on.

2013

Taking the leap

In 2013, our founder Simon Bayley made the decision to go full time. He set up at Monument Business Park in Chalgrove and began offering IT support to local businesses and primary schools around Wallingford. A humble beginning, but one that allowed us to build genuine trust in our community.

2014

The right people

Reputation grew, opportunities followed, and by April 2014 we needed an extra pair of hands. David Dewey joined as a contractor, bringing the technical skill set and work ethic the business needed. His collaboration with Simon proved instrumental to what came next.

2017

A true partnership

In November 2017, David joined Ask4Support full time as a Shareholder and Technical Director. His leadership and technical insight drove innovation across how we worked and laid the groundwork for serious growth.

2020

Adapting through uncertainty

Like every business, 2020 tested us. The pandemic created a surge in demand for remote working solutions and we responded by bringing in more technical staff and helping our entire client base adapt to new ways of operating. Despite the uncertainty, we experienced rapid growth.

2021

A home to be proud of

In January 2021, we moved into our current 1,500 sq ft office in Wallingford, Oxfordshire. A dedicated engineers' workshop, client hardware storage, and proper meeting spaces. This was a testament to everything we'd built. Since then, we've grown 35% year on year.

Today

Where we are now

A dedicated 24/7 support team. A fully operational project delivery function. A client base spanning three continents. An active apprenticeship programme developing new talent. We're proud of how far we've come. More importantly, we're still grounded in the same values we started with.
